Merge PDF documents in file order
- Select Choose PDFs or photos and pick at least two files. Add the passport pages, licence scan or other files the recipient requests. Try it with an example opens fictional documents first.
- Check the page count beside each file. Drag its handle to change the file order, or focus the handle and use the arrow keys. Use Add files for a missing scan and × to remove a file. Pages inside a PDF keep their original order.
- Select Combine and download PDF. Open the saved file and check every required page, its order and legibility before sharing. On an iPhone, check Files and its Downloads folder; the destination follows your browser settings.
Passport and licence scans are examples, not a bundle checklist
Bermuda Hospitals Board's personal-information request form lists passport or driving-licence evidence to confirm identity. Agree the necessary evidence and file arrangement with its Privacy Officer before combining reference copies. The form does not establish that both documents must be sent together or that a merged PDF is the required format.
That personal-information form directs medical-record requests to separate release procedures. Merge does not retrieve records, sign an authority letter or establish permission to act for another person. Follow the appropriate official process and keep required signed documents in their original form.
For a passport or licence renewal, use the relevant Bermuda passport guide or driving-licence guide. Combine copies only when the recipient requests one file; keep separate checklist items separate otherwise.
Existing PDF text and all pages stay together
Merge copies the existing PDF pages directly. Selectable PDF text remains selectable; an image scan stays an image. There is no OCR to recognise words in photos. All pages of every input PDF are included, including pages after the first ten, within the file limits and your device's memory.
The handles move whole files. They do not remove, rearrange or interleave individual pages inside a PDF. Choose corrected source files if an internal page order needs changing.
The result is a new PDF and does not preserve digital-signature validation. Keep digitally signed originals separately. A PDF requiring an opening password cannot be added. The last output page carries a credit for the free tool, below an existing PDF page or in a photo's bottom margin.
Combine PDFs with document photos
Choose PDF, JPG, PNG or browser-supported HEIC files together. Each photo fits entirely on its own Letter sheet with 12 mm margins. Existing PDF pages retain their page sizes, with an extra strip below the final PDF page when it carries the credit.
Merge does not crop a photographed background or straighten a tilted card. For a single scan or both sides of one card on a sheet, arrange the layout in Photo to PDF, download it and add that PDF here. HEIC support depends on your browser; an iPhone library selection can provide JPG.
Free, without a document upload
Combine 2 to 20 files, at most 25 MB per file and 100 MB altogether. The browser reads your selected files and builds one PDF on your device, without an account or document upload. After the page and processing resources have loaded, you can continue offline.
Merging does not target a smaller file size. Compress can prepare a smaller copy separately, but it processes only the first ten PDF pages and exports image pages, losing selectable text. Its 1 MB starting target is an editing default, not a local filing rule. Check the saved file's size, complete page count and readability.
If the recipient accepts an altered reference copy, use Watermark for a purpose label or Hide details for agreed unnecessary fields before merging. Those editing tools also create image copies from at most the first ten PDF pages. Keep the complete evidence and any required originals.
