Bahamas permit-renewal PDFs and data-access ID copies

Make a passport or permit PDF for a Bahamas Immigration renewal, or merge the separate pages of one supporting document. Reduce its size when needed, or prepare agreed ID evidence for a personal-data request. The tools are free and do not upload documents.

Start with the recipient’s actual request

For an Immigration renewal, start with one complete supporting document. For a personal-data request, first establish which identity details the organisation needs. The two tasks require different copies.

Renewal evidence and employee badge photos use different formats

The Immigration portal FAQ specifies PDF, one file per supporting document and a 450 KB ceiling. Use Merge when that document's pages are separate files, then check the result's size. Its published scope is eligible permit renewals; confirm the live form before preparing files.

For a MOHW employee badge request, the government-ID field instead lists JPG/PNG up to 2 MB. If that is your task, choose JPG in Compress and check the photo remains readable. This tool does not generate the separate badge portrait.

The Data Protection Commissioner’s guide describes personal-data access requests and the information needed to identify a requester. Ask the organisation what is sufficient before making an optional marked or redacted ID copy.

Conversion and editing make image copies

Photo to PDF, Compress, Watermark and Hide details accept JPG, PNG, supported HEIC or PDF up to 25 MB. These four tools process only the first ten pages of an input PDF and download JPG or an image-based PDF. Selectable text, fillable fields and digital signatures are not preserved. Keep any original signed or fillable file.

Merge includes all input PDF pages

Merge PDF documents combines 2 to 20 files, no more than 25 MB each and 100 MB altogether. It includes every input PDF page within those limits and available device memory, keeping existing selectable text. Photos become separate Letter pages with margins. Reorder whole files; pages inside each PDF stay in their original order.

The last page carries the free tool's credit. Keep digitally signed originals separately because the new PDF does not preserve signature validation. Opening-password PDFs cannot be added, and merging does not target a smaller size.

Files stay in your browser

The tools process selected documents in your browser without an account or document upload, leaving the source files unchanged. The four image-editing tools remove camera metadata from their downloaded copies.

Use Photo to PDF for a card layout, Merge to join separate files, Compress for an attachment ceiling, Watermark for an agreed purpose label or Hide details for agreed unnecessary fields. Save between tools and inspect the complete downloaded file, particularly before passing more than ten merged pages into an editing tool.

Common questions

Does every Bahamas portal require a PDF?

No. Use the format beside the actual field. Immigration supporting scans and MOHW employee-ID images have different published formats.

Why does compression start at 300 KB?

It is an available target below the Immigration FAQ’s 450 KB ceiling. It is a starting point; check the current form and the saved file.

What input files can I use?

The four conversion and editing tools accept JPG, PNG, supported HEIC or PDF up to 25 MB and process only the first ten PDF pages into images. Merge accepts 2 to 20 PDFs or photos, up to 25 MB each and 100 MB total, and includes every input PDF page while keeping existing selectable text. Keep signed originals separately.
