TCI passport and police-record tools for permit pre-checks

4.8 out of 5 stars137 ratings

Prepare passport or police-record reference scans for your employer or permit agent to review. Convert, reduce, mark or redact an agreed pre-check copy, or merge separate files when the recipient requests one PDF.

Confirm whether a pre-check copy is needed

The government work-permit and Labour Clearance pages do not confirm that an employer or agent requests or accepts a watermarked or redacted pre-check copy. Start with the question without an identity attachment. Make a separate altered reference copy only after the recipient explicitly requests it and accepts the changes. Certified filing evidence and any required originals remain separate.

Start with the recipient’s actual request

Before a Turks and Caicos work-permit filing, an employer or agent may need to review the supporting evidence with you. Use the tools for an agreed reference check, keeping official certification and original-document requirements separate.

Keep the pre-check separate from certified filing evidence

TCI work-permit guidance requires certified supporting evidence and sometimes originals. A browser export does not create a certified copy or replace an unchanged original the filing process requires.

Labour Clearance guidance also names a passport photo page and police record. Keep distinct supporting evidence in the files or fields the filing requires. Photo to PDF lays out one document and its reverse; Merge joins multiple requested reference files when the recipient accepts one PDF.

Review with the responsible employer or agent

Ask which pages the agent needs for the pre-check and which must remain unchanged for filing. Do not redact the result of a police check, a certification statement, a signature or information needed to assess the permit.

Letter is a starting layout, not a TCI application rule. Change to A4 when requested. Compression starts at 1 MB as an editing default; no TCI-wide upload ceiling is claimed. An accepted reference copy is not evidence that the official filing accepts the same edits.

Files stay in your browser

Choose JPG, PNG, browser-supported HEIC or PDF up to 25 MB per file. Photo to PDF, Compress, Watermark and Hide details process only the first ten input PDF pages and export JPG or an image-based PDF. Those editing copies lose selectable text, fillable fields and digital-signature validation. Keep the original signed or fillable files.

Merge PDF documents joins 2 to 20 files, up to 100 MB altogether, into one PDF. It includes every input PDF page and retains existing selectable text, within file and device-memory limits. Each photo fits on a separate Letter page with 12 mm margins. Its controls order whole files, and its result does not preserve digital-signature validation. PDFs requiring an opening password cannot be added.

All five tools process the selected documents in your browser, without an account or document upload. They leave your source files unchanged and add the free-tool credit to the downloaded copy. The four image-editing jobs remove camera metadata from their exports.

Use Photo to PDF for a document layout, Merge for separate files the recipient wants in one PDF, Compress for an attachment ceiling, Watermark for an agreed purpose label or Hide details for agreed unnecessary fields. Save between tools and inspect the complete downloaded result.

Common questions

Does this create a certified TCI passport copy?

No. It makes an image-based reference copy. Obtain any required certification and keep the official filing evidence unchanged as required.

Can I combine work-permit reference documents here?

Yes, with Merge when your employer or agent requests or accepts one reference PDF. Photo to PDF handles the layout of one document and its reverse. Keep certified evidence, required originals and any separate filing fields in their requested form.

What input files can I use?

Choose JPG, PNG, browser-supported HEIC or PDF up to 25 MB per file. The four editing tools process only the first ten input PDF pages and export images. Merge combines 2 to 20 files, up to 100 MB total, retaining all PDF pages and existing selectable text. Keep digitally signed originals separately.
